When setting up a dial up connection your phone line should be plugged firmly into an active phone jack and into the modem port on your computer.
Use the following screen shots to help configure your dial up connection to Rio Networks.
Click Start then Click Run.
Step 1
Type “inetwiz” and click ok.
Step 2
Choose “Connect using my phone line” and click next.
Step 3
Enter the dial up number, and click next.
Step 4
Enter your full User Name and password. i.e. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Then click next.
Step 5
Enter the name for your connection. ie. Rio Networks.
Step 6
Select Yes if you would like to setup an outlook e-mail account, or No if you are not using outlook for e-mail. Then click Next
Step 7
If you choose Yes skip step 8.
If you choose No, click finish and your connection is setup.
Step 8
Type your display name. (This is the name that people will see when you send them an e-mail.)
Then Click Next.
Step 9
Enter your email address and click Next.
Step 10
Enter the mail server information. Use mail.rionetworks.com, mail.rosenet.net, or mail.bendnet.com which ever applies for both the inbound and outbound server. Then click Next.
Step 11
Enter your full email address for the account name and your password. Then click Next.
Step 12
Click Finish.
Congratulations, your dial up connection and email setup is now complete.
Step 13
When you want to connect later on. You can click the start button then go to Connect To then select the connection we just created.
