Please note that this example is in reference to a setting up email in association to the rio.com domain. If your email address ends in either bendnet.com or rosenet.net. The mail servers should both be either mail.bendnet.com or mail.rosenet.net.
Open Windows Mail, and click on Tools. Then choose Accounts. (If this is the first time you’ve opened Windows Mail you’ll be prompted to configure the settings immediately and you can skip to step 4.)
Step 1
Click the “Add” button.

Step 2
Highlight “Email Account” then click next.

Step 3
Type your name in the Display Name Box, and click Next. (This is what people see in the from field when you send them an email.)

Step 4
Enter your email address, and click Next.

Step 5
Type in the e-mail server names (i.e. mail.rio.com, mail.rosenet.net, or mail.bendnet.com), and place a check in the box for Outgoing server requires authentication.

Step 6
Type in your full e-mail username and your password.

Step 7
Check the box marked “Do not download my e-mail at this time”, and Click finish to complete the setup.
