Past

1994 - RIO provided computer based bulletin board services. 1995 - RIO added basic modem dial-up Internet access and other enhanced Internet services. RIO became a stand alone company and positioned its self as a “quality” Internet access provider.

1998 - RIO secured status as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC). Telephone lines and long distance services completed our portfolio, providing a range of communication and data services to commercial and residential accounts in metropolitan and rural areas of Oregon.

Present

Rio Networks is corporately headquartered in beautiful Roseburg, Oregon. We have grown our local support footprint to outlying locations in Bend, Eugene, Grants Pass, Medford, and Portland. Our Roseburg location includes staff for customer service, technical support, order entry, provisioning, technicians, IT engineers, programmers, as well as our management team. Outlying offices employ field service technicians and sales support.

We strive to provide innovative communication tools that create value, promote economic growth, community involvement, jobs, education, security, advertisement, research and entertainment.

In 2009 Rio Networks has dedicated our resources to specialize in Business Solutions.

In order to accommodate this goal, we will service and upgrade our current Residential customers in all markets and continue to offer our full line of residential services in Roseburg where our Cooperate office resides.
